Jeroen Slappendel

Jeroen holds an MSc. in Industrial Engineering & Management with a specialization in Logistics and Marketing from the University of Twente. In his early career, he set up the US office of market research agency SKIM in New York. Some of his clients there were Unilever, P&G, Pfizer and Mars. After returning to the Netherlands, Jeroen started working for Albert Heijn. First in Location Strategy, after that in several marketing and commercial roles. His last job was the successful repositioning and rebranding of Delicata chocolate and Perla coffee. End of 2017, Jeroen has decided to change his career and to start working as an independent consultant. This allowed him to help multiple clients with their marketing, branding and innovation strategy using his skills to understand human behavior, conduct user research, facilitate positioning and concept development and create fresh ideas and insights. More importantly, he is looking for ways to transform business. Big corporates by helping to have a more positive impact in the world and social enterprises by offering them his skills and expertise. Jeroen is curious, empathetic and quick on his feet. He always starts looking from a broad perspective in order to channel that to relevant results for his clients. He brings energy and good humor to each of his projects.
